I didn’t even last a week on LinkedIn. I got banned because even though the articles I published on my profile’s “wall” were solely academic, people still screamed in terror because I’m an aspiring sexologist which means my profession is taboo. Nothing in the terms of service explicitly forbids sexology related content (Hell, the short time I was there I managed to find many sex therapists and similar professions). My guess is that I just got the unlucky roll of the dice with whoever browsed my profile.

I’m not bothering trying to get the account back because from what I’ve read, it’s a whole lot of trouble and honestly not worth it in the end.
