I modeled on sites like ModelMayhem from about ages 15-21 or so. I got my own share of horror stories. Espicially with creepy old photography men and/or men who were OBSESSED with underwear, messaging me and asking me to (basically) "Get a private photo me just in my underwaear" despite at the time how my profile SHOWED CLEAR AS DAY I WAS A MINOR!

Freelance modeling tends to be a little bit safer but yeah the dark underbelly that "pain is beauty" runs deep in the modeling world. If you ever want someone to talk about it with you, I'm always open. I mostly did runways, avant gardes, horror, and cosplay when I modeled regularly (I rarely do now mostly due to chronic health issues sapping up my energy).
