I enjoy browsing video content on social media. There is always an interesting video to be found. When it comes to witchcraft, there’s a fair share of interesting and cringe content. Cringe in the sense of “Oh god, stop, I feel embarrassed for you this is so bad.” To make matters worse, there is a lot of “loud” people on social media who are spreading misinformation.

“Whiteknighting” is the concept of proclaiming statements (often from a white person when in the context of cultural and/or religious discussions) in an attempt to be “a good ally” to said culture or religion, but often ends up making a fool out of themselves because they are pontificating things that simply aren’t true. “A” for effort, but “F” for the statements you are saying.

Hinduism is not considered a “closed” belief system for the majority of the community. There are certain rituals, temples, beliefs, etc. that are considered closed off to the outside world, but for the most part, anyone from around the world can decide to research Hinduism and learn more about the community (and eventually consider themselves a Hindu if they’ve done enough research and find that their spiritual beliefs are very similar to the core beliefs of Hinduism).

Kali is a very popular deity in the Hindu pantheon. She is the goddess of time, paradoxes, and destruction. Kali attracts many people…
