Anyway, the series is incredibly short. There’s no way under the sun they can address and/or have characters from every skin tone and/or culture from around the world. Like a few others have mentioned, this show was based on a real-life scenario that occurred. Statistically speaking, very few people involved in said scenario were likely anything other than white (or white-passing).

Not everything has to be about race (and I’m saying that as a minority) or have racial undertones. Sometimes I just want to turn my brain off from social commentary and the like (again, I am saying that as someone whose apart of the largest minority group in Europe) and just enjoy a show.
